Gilmore (Jack Thibeau) who seems to have already gone over the edge trying to catch this cat burglar and they butt heads until he's taken off the case due to his deteriorating mental health, will Crockett be next? Is this the primetime version of Michael Mann's 1986 film Manhunter which was released one month after this episode was filmed? Because it sure seems like it!

In a very non-Morpheus role, Laurence Fishburne stars as one the corrupt guards and Ron Perlman stars as the commissioner of prisons in this dark, Tubbs-centric episode. So good, I didn't even remember their characters' names for the whole recording session haha! Forgive my mushbrain!

With this proof, he wants a Peabody and starts putting the word out that the tape is for sale, which in turn means the government is hot on his tail and Crockett, loyal as always, is worried his friend is back on the hard stuff and stretching the truth. Maynard (G Gordon Liddy) returns to get Stone once again before Stone's work foils his evildoing.

This week on Miami Vice: Liam Neeson stars as Sean Carroon, an incredibly charming pacifist who had publicly left the Provisional IRA and charms Gina during a speech at a local Miami church. When an armed masked man who is familiar with Carroon crashes the party, Gina comes to the rescue and later deals with the guilt when they discover he was just a kid. As we learn more about the Troubles, an agent from the Scotland Yard comes to Miami to "assist" with the case as Sonny and Rico deal with arms dealers who are having trouble executing their order...wonder who's getting their hands on their weapons? This is a big season premiere! We have Liam Neeson in a towel and some HUGE Viced Tea on him, we say goodbye to the Daytona is spectacular fashion and we welcome the style of Dick Wolf as the fashion and the tone changes in the series for good.
