This week on Miami Vice: Vice busts a fellow cop (Bill Paxton) they find along with a working girl holding some pharmaceutical-grade cocaine during a motel bust. They dig deeper to find the source, first looking into the pimp/dealer Silk (Wesley Snipes) and they set Tubbs up as his competition with the alias Butch and a menacing Panama Hat that matches his silver suit. Crockett sympathizes with cop who's too far under that he seems to have not factored his wife into the equation of trying to get his sex worker girlfriend off the streets but, despite Crockett's attempts at helping, this story has played out on Miami Vice before to sad results. Trudy and Gina absolutely SLAY their street outfits as they play along to try and get Carla to play along with their ruse since she's naturally hesitant about working with cops, unless it's her married boyfriend - of course. As the pressure gets put on Silk, his supplier gets angry and starts putting out hits on the competition, the main one being Butch aka Tubbs, oh no!

This week on Miami Vice: Vice intercepts a cargo plane that lands in the Everglades expecting a drug shipment and are horrified when they hear babies crying. Turns out this is part of a bigger smuggling ring and adoption front led by a sleazy lawyer named - wait for it - Famiglia (Tommy Koenig). While Vice tries to help a mother find her long-lost son in Miami, they also get closer to uncovering the big picture, leading Famiglia to be more and more defensive. This week on Miami Vice: Crockett and Tubbs are undercover trying to stop insanely powerful and deadly hitting the streets from a dealer/interestingly themed-bar owner named, I kid you not, Wango Mack (Rob Nilsson) when Tubbs is outed as a cop by his ex-NYPD partner Clarance Batisse (Victor Love) with an axe to grind. Tubbs tries to get to the bottom of what happened with his ex-partner and unearths details about a shooting that he testified against Clarence for that reveal a lot of secrets about the shooting and his ex-partner's actions. Clarence's girlfriend Melody (Shanti Owen) is a dancer at the club who luckily, like all film and tv tropes, has a heart of gold and can see Tubbs' true colours, but will it be revealed in time? Izzy is hired as a companion for the genius chemist behind the synthetic coke and hijinks, kidnapping and greyhound-related mayhem ensue.

With this proof, he wants a Peabody and starts putting the word out that the tape is for sale, which in turn means the government is hot on his tail and Crockett, loyal as always, is worried his friend is back on the hard stuff and stretching the truth. Maynard (G Gordon Liddy) returns to get Stone once again before Stone's work foils his evildoing.

This week on Miami Vice: Liam Neeson stars as Sean Carroon, an incredibly charming pacifist who had publicly left the Provisional IRA and charms Gina during a speech at a local Miami church. When an armed masked man who is familiar with Carroon crashes the party, Gina comes to the rescue and later deals with the guilt when they discover he was just a kid. As we learn more about the Troubles, an agent from the Scotland Yard comes to Miami to "assist" with the case as Sonny and Rico deal with arms dealers who are having trouble executing their order...wonder who's getting their hands on their weapons? This is a big season premiere! We have Liam Neeson in a towel and some HUGE Viced Tea on him, we say goodbye to the Daytona is spectacular fashion and we welcome the style of Dick Wolf as the fashion and the tone changes in the series for good.
