This week on Miami Vice: Crockett and Tubbs are introduced to the world of underground art dealing when a big deal goes bust and they "hot" goods Vice finds turns out to be paintings. The main piece of the group is missing and Det. Whitehead from the NYPD (Michael Chiklis) is in Miami to help locate the art by prepping Crockett and Tubbs on how to penetrate the art world and we get some retconning of Tubbs from Season One, but also some great outfits so it all works out. The Scianti family - known for other types of deals - are involved and run a gallery where Tubbs goes under as a art history professor/connoisseur/dealer with the family to get closer. Joey and Julia, the children, are carrying on the family business by making deals for Joey and running the gallery for Julia and they also butt heads over what the future holds for the main piece of art their dad stole years ago and the drama it will bring as Whitehead, Vice and the Sciantis fight over it.

This week on Miami Vice: Real-life EGOT Rita Moreno guest stars as a congresswoman with a wayward son who's involved in the disappearance of a very British man's drugs. Her anti-drug platform has been central to her legacy and the Brit threatens to ruin her career if she doesn't play along. She is stuck between a rock and a hard place when her personal and professional lives collide and she has to protect her son. Unfortunately, Castillo is also brought into it as they attempt to blackmail him as well. Crockett has a "marathon" therapy session and we see the toll this life has taken on him and is still taking as the final season progresses.

This week on Miami Vice: A wedding is quickly followed by a funeral as a kingpin Luis Pedroza is gunned down on his wedding day, leaving his arranged bride and now widow to live with his son (Miguel Ferrer RIP), sister-in-law and son-in-law. Clearly, things will be super happy and cordial! The 80s did love a new mysterious woman moving into a huge mansion occupied with feuding family members. Things gets spicier when Tubbs catches feelings. Meanwhile, Crockett goes up to visit Billy, who is acting out due to the impending visit from the Stork. Crockett tries to make up for lost time, but it doesn't seem to be enough as Billy feels unwanted by both sides.

This week on Miami Vice: Gina is undercover with a big-time dealer, Enriquez, who is a big fan of white stuff whether it be cocaine or fabulous accessories. Vice is after him and their bust (at a metro station party...?) was by the book until Enriquez's lawyer gets him off thanks to Switek's typo in the warrant. The lawyer, Sam Boyle and his protegé, Lisa Madsen (Amanda Pummer) are working for Enriquez as Vice tries to get closer, and it takes a dead child to make Lisa questions her loyalty. Her world comes crashing down as Vice closes in on Enriquez and Boyle - whose world is also closing in around him as he's caught stealing from Frank Romano (Tony Sirico), while Enriquez keeps servings looks.

This week on Miami Vice: Sonny goes back undercover to get closer to two bigwigs: Manolo and Gutierrez - against Tubb's wishes and ends up in an explosion. He survives (not to Vice's knowledge) but, has amnesia and now believes that he is his alter ego, Sonny Burnett. As he gets deeper into this new world, Tubbs is digging deeper into Manolo and Gutierrez (Antonio Fargas!) to figure out what really happened on that boat with help from the Ft. Lauderdale precinct. The same precinct that's trying to track down an internal leak to Gutierrez! What a season finale. Did I mentioned Julia Roberts?

This week on Miami Vice: Evil is the theme of this week as Vice hears about home invasions gone wrong when a 15-year old girl is killed, and the style matches that of Frank Hackman... remember him? From "Forgive Us Our Debts"? He shot and killed Crockett's former partner, was on death row until Crockett helped get him out, believing he was innocent. Nope! And now Crockett is about to cross paths with Hackman again right as Caitlin comes home from tour with a secret in tow.

Gina and Mosca get chatting at a party, and she gets closer to him to help get more info pertaining to his businesses to help Vice and the Feds, who are still trying to nail him. Crockett appears concern (or is it jealousy? Bro, go focus on your wife!) as she gets deeper undercover with Mosca, who has taken a shine to her. But, Gina gets closer, and like Frank Stallone in this episode, a little too close to fire.
